Thanksgiving day started out with a bang with David and his brother, Michael playing in my work's turkey bowl. I was the team photographer. It was so fun to watch. Hilarious actually.
Here is David in the orange.
Michael is next to David on the left. One of my managers (and the only girl who played) is second in from the left with the green bandanna. That's her son next to her on the left. They were on opposite teams as were David and Michael. It was a fun game. The kid actually sacked David once.
Team photog!
The winners! Michael's team won.
The losers! Maybe they'll win in the Christmas eve bowl.
After football I had mashed potatoes to make (only 10 pounds this year) and fruit salad, then it was off to the in laws.
Big hair day!
Rachel and Michael were in town for Thanksgiving.
So cute!
The only Thanksgiving disaster was the marshmallows on top of the sweet potatoes. Not to worry though. Scrapped them off, melted new ones on. Good as new.
The spread.
Dinner was amazing as always. PS-my new new cell phone is pictured here. That was a crazy experience. I'll have to blog about it...well, basically it took us 4 hours to get new cell phones. We could have bought a car in that amount of time. It was hell, but now we have phones that work I guess.
I take this picture of Rachel every Thanksgiving I can. This year, two plates. She ate both completely. And still wasn't stuffed. Weird.
The gang! We had a little smaller Thanksgiving than normal, but still awesome.

I was so glad to see the canned cranberry sauce was served. That is something I miss whenever we go to Sam's. Why doesn't everyone love the canned sauce as much as we do?
ReplyDeleteI lOve your hair!!! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way Kelly! Whenever I go to the inlaws they make a real yummy fresh cranberry thing, but I still miss the can. Sometimes I bring some just for me!
