On Wednesday we did much the same thing as the day before, but this time we woke up to Antigua.
Off the boat we decided to just walk around the city for a bit.
We ended up at this church. The city we ported in is called St. John and this was the St. John the Baptist church.
The church was closed for refurbishing. It was in pretty bad shape, but this cemetery on the grounds was open. It was pretty.

We really didn't stay long in the city. We just walked around for an hour or so.
On the way back to the ship we stopped by this market.
Back aboard the ship we laid around by the pool. Around 4 or 5 everyday we were on our cruise the buffet would put out cookies and scones. David deemed this his cookie time.
Everyday we would wake up, visit the port for a little while, get back on board and lay around the pool then get cookies and whipping cream and bring them back to our room to eat on our balcony while we watched the ship leave port. Then we would work out and get ready and go to dinner, then walk around the boat for a bit and go to bed. Seriously, the laziest week ever.
The point is, David REALLY liked cookie time.

Goodbye Antigua!
A workout and a shower later we are at dinner.
More shrimp cocktail. So good.
David's meatballs. He said there was "a lot going on" in those meatballs, but he liked them.
Salmon and mashed pots for me.
Dessert. That was a passion fruit cheesecake. Yum.
After dinner David entertained me by trying to play the white grand piano in the conservatory.
Later it was off to bed for another day of sightseeing and eating!

I just had a "David and Marlene Cruise Miracle!" occur. As I was reading about "cookie time" I wished in my mind that I could have "cookie time" at work. Not two minutes later a co-worker came by with some festive, holiday-themed cookies! It's a David and Marlene Cruise Miracle! Exclamation points!
